Around 25 years ago India Flint an artist developed the Eco Printing process. This technique allows the colour transfer of leaves from different plants to a variety of fabrics, paper, clay and stone. This technique became popular among a diverse mix of craftspeople, who began to explore different materials and processes. In India, this ecologically friendly, colour transfer technique is practised in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Bengal.
